Terms of use
Terms for using Busleyden Guard.
These terms apply to the public site, install-free preview, GitHub App, installed Guard workflow, and Guard Pro service operated under the Busleyden Guard name.
Using the service
You must be authorized to submit a pull-request URL, install the GitHub App, connect a repository, or act for a GitHub account or organization. You are responsible for reviewing the setup pull request, workflow permissions, Guard output, and merge decision.
Plans and billing
Public-repository beta use is free while offered. Paid checkout and private-repository access are closed during the independent-evidence beta. There is no card requirement, automatic paid conversion, or active paid subscription offer. If paid plans open later, their checkout terms will state the price, renewal, cancellation, tax, and refund conditions before purchase.
Support scope
Guard Pro includes asynchronous support through the published support route. It does not include sales calls, onboarding meetings, custom implementation, telephone support, or a response-time or availability service-level agreement.
Acceptable use
You may not use Guard to violate law or third-party rights, access repositories without authorization, distribute malware, probe or disrupt the service, evade access controls or plan limits, overload endpoints, or misrepresent Guard output as an independent audit or compliance certification.
Your repositories and data
You retain responsibility for repository content and for having the rights needed to process it. Customer source code remains in the customer repository by default. Our handling of service data is described in the privacy notice and data handling summary.
Third-party services
Guard depends on services such as GitHub and may use Stripe and customer-selected scanners or configured integrations. Those services are governed by their own terms. Their outages or changes may limit Guard.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, including free features. Material paid-plan changes should be presented through the service or checkout. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Output and responsibility
Guard analyzes bounded repository and scanner evidence. Missing evidence can remain unknown, and configured tools determine coverage. You remain responsible for testing, security review, regulatory decisions, deployment, and any action taken from Guard output.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties. Busleyden Guard does not warrant that every consequence, defect, vulnerability, or policy issue will be identified. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded. Any negotiated agreement may provide different warranties or limits.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service, remove the workflow, uninstall the App, and cancel a paid subscription. We may restrict access for abuse, security risk, nonpayment, or material violation of these terms. Repository artifacts already stored in your GitHub environment remain under your control.

Use the support route shown in the GitHub App listing or your existing commercial correspondence for questions. We may update these terms as the product changes; the published date identifies the current version.
